Closaway Farms provides premium whitetail deer hunting in Rushville, Illinois, one of the top three deer hunting locations in the state. Hunting is archery only at this location and is in accordance with federal and state game laws.
Closaway operates over 1,500 acres on twelve separate tracts with a central lodge, all within a 10-minute drive of one another. We have existing lock-on locations, and clients are welcome to use their own climbers. Hunting at this location is self-guided, and clients are responsible for all aspects of their hunt, including retrieval and processing of their trophy.

Hunting is priced per-day, with a five-day minimum. Pricing includes lodging and hunting at all twelve tracts. Prices vary based on pre-rut and post-rut. Whitetail rates are based on a minimum B&C score of 130 inches. Trophy fees will apply for deer harvested in excess of 150 inches.

Lodging in the Midwestern U.S. is lodge style, with a maximum of six people per trip. The lodge features a full kitchen, gas grill, two bathrooms, and expansive living area with large screen TV. Restaurants and other shopping opportunities are a close drive from each location should you wish to eat in town or purchase supplies.
Clients are responsible for transportation, clothing, firearms, ammunition, food, and drink. All of our locations in the Southeast are easily accessible from the airports in Atlanta, Georgia and Tallahassee, Florida.
